Creating characters during trials.
Hey there. I just finished my Epic Trial (Prophecies and Factions), and was wondering if perhaps I should have created a character in that time. I just brought my Nightfall Monk across rather than creating a Factions-exclusive PC, but just now my girlfriend suggested that I should have made a Ritualist and brought him over to Nightfall. She assumed I'd be able to play that character within the Nightfall campaign after the trial expired, despite their origin as a Factions character. Is she right? Did I royally miss out, here? I really like Ritualists.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe you wouldn't be able to continue playing the Ritualist after the trial period. Skills unlocked on your account during the trial stays unlocked, but you will not be able to use the profession and their skills until you buy the campaign that the profession belongs to (in this case Factions) .

Ah. Glad I didn't miss out on an excellent opportunity, then. I'll probably end up getting Factions anyway, those Ritualists seem too good to pass up.

No chars made during a trial period are locked at the end of that trial unless you have the access key for the chapter they were created in, even if you migrated that char to another chapter you own.
